Marine
Yacht decks, ferry decks, handrails. A certified alternative to old-growth tropical teak
Since 2025, CITES has effectively ended tropical teak imports into the EU. Our maritime-grade teak product delivers the aesthetic and mechanical properties of century-old teak — engineered for salt, sun and boots. Tested against EN 927-3 (weathering), EN 15651-4 and EN 10590 (saltwater), and NEN 350-1 (fungi resistance).

Tested for EN 335 use class 4 (permanent outdoor exposure) and EN 927-3 (weathering), the material is dimensionally stable across freeze–thaw cycles and holds its colour under UV without oiling.

Where does 3RT Technologies Europe produce its wood?
Every European order is produced on 3RT Technologies Europe’s own production line in Belgium.
Is 3RT Technologies Europe the same as Resuwood?
Not quite. 3RT Technologies Europe is a license holder for biological technology and the production line, and handles strategy, sales and R&D. Resuwood is our production company — they operate the line, manage inventory and run quality control. Together we deliver every European order.
Is your technology proven at industrial scale?
Yes. Our patented biological technology has been running at TRL9+, the highest industrial readiness level, since 2015. Our European production line runs on that same proven process, tuned for European species and applications.
