A decade of rethinking wood
3RT Technologies Europe was founded in 2024.
Together with Flinders University and Bosch Technologies, we patented a biological process that replicates the natural growth of hardwood in fifteen minutes. Ten years and a 3,000 m² innovation centre later, 3RT Technologies Europe crossed the equator. In early 2024 we installed our first European production line in Belgium, operated in our company Resuwood.
The name says the rest: 3RT Technologies Europe stands for the three R’s of sustainability: Reduce – Reuse – Recycle.

Since 2025, EU regulation has effectively ended tropical teak imports under CITES. And the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requires every importer to prove their supply chain is deforestation-free, a burden most cannot carry.
We designed our European operation around that reality. Veneers are sourced from responsibly managed plantations in Spain and Panama and they are delivered on-demand across Europe, without long-haul freight or CITES paperwork. No compromise on look. No compromise on feel. No compromise on compliance.
